At Adderley Green depot, you’ll support and deputise for the Operations Manager at Adderley Green depot, managing service performance, customer outcomes, compliance and cost. The role leads supervisors and frontline colleagues, improves lost mileage and punctuality, maintains disruption plans and performance systems, and handles employee relations and union engagement. Previous management or supervision, knowledge of road-traffic and employment legislation, strong planning, digital skills and an ability to lead operational improvement are sought.
What You'll Work On
- Manage depot operations and supervisors within company policy and legislation, addressing punctuality, lost mileage and customer performance against agreed service measures.
- Maintain disruption plans, training standards, performance systems and operational records, coordinating the information used to manage the depot’s services.
- Handle employee relations, trade-union engagement and depot budgets, and represent operational matters in meetings with relevant external stakeholders and partners.
