What You'll Work On

  • Lead and develop the engineering team and oversee daily depot, workshop and infrastructure activity for the West of England.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, vehicle-maintenance and quality standards across engineering operations and workshop activity.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and subcontractor performance while managing engineering activity to reduce vehicle downtime and lost mileage.
  • Conduct staff training, performance reviews and development planning, maintaining communication with senior management and teams across the business.
  • Develop engineering processes and continuous-improvement initiatives, reviewing performance against fleet availability, maintenance quality and workshop-efficiency measures.
