Complex rail, transport and infrastructure projects are led through this York management post, with control of execution plans, resources, finances and contractual delivery. It coordinates multidisciplinary teams and maintains reporting, billing and risk escalation. The permanent role seeks willingness to work towards APM chartership and NEC4 Project Manager accreditation; it does not require those credentials to be held already.
What You'll Work On
- Lead day-to-day project delivery against scope, schedule, budget and quality targets, maintaining execution plans and aligning team activity with required governance processes.
- Manage change and resources and resolve allocation conflicts, identifying delivery issues and escalating risks or priorities when intervention is needed.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flow and billing and report project performance, maintaining accurate and timely financial information throughout delivery.
- Lead client and internal meetings and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, applying the relevant safety, environmental and CDM requirements across project activities.

- Qualification: Willingness to work towards APM chartership and NEC4 PM accreditation is sought; professional membership or equivalent experience is accepted.
