From Newcastle or Leeds, the Associate leads development-management commissions covering planning applications, local plans, environmental assessments, masterplans and early design. What You'll Work On
- Lead technical delivery of development-management, local-plan and masterplanning commissions for SYSTRA’s public and private-sector clients across the business.
- Act as Project Director, controlling scope, budget, programme, quality and the internal technical supply chain for assigned commissions.
- Direct reviews of planning applications, local plans, environmental impact assessments and outline or preliminary designs, verifying technical accuracy and standards compliance.
- Develop fee proposals, bids and new opportunities with Sector Directors while maintaining client relationships across development-control and planning work.
- Line-manage and allocate work to a team of up to six, providing technical direction and development support.

- Technical: Ability to contribute to and prepare bids and tenders is sought.
- Stakeholder: Ability to lead and mentor staff and develop team skills is sought.
