What You'll Work On

  • Provide software technical support and independent assurance services across railway projects, working with the Security and Software Assurance team lead.
  • Support technical activities from software planning through validation and maintenance, including definition of acceptance plans for complex systems at system level.
  • Carry out independent reviews and software-assurance or acceptance work, including gap analysis and incident investigations related to the software being assessed.

What They Are Looking For

  • Qualification: A computer-science, computer-science engineering or similar degree is essential.
  • Technical: Essential knowledge covers software plans (SQAP, SV&VP and SCMP), requirements, design, traceability, change, testing, verification/validation and configuration management.
  • Domain: EN 50128 and/or EN 50657 knowledge is essential.
  • Preferred: IEC/EN 61508, EN 50716 and IEC 12207 knowledge is desirable.
