Extensive systems-engineering and technical-leadership experience on large integration programmes is required. You’ll act as a senior technical authority for TfL ticketing, defining architectures, requirements, interfaces and engineering governance across hardware and software throughout the lifecycle. This is a 12-month on-site fixed-term role in Redhill, with responsibility for verification and technical compliance.
What You'll Work On
- Lead requirements engineering, architecture, interface definition and multidisciplinary integration.
- Chair design and governance reviews and assure software, hardware, infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions.
- Resolve complex technical issues and oversee verification, validation and deployment.
- Support estimates, risks, bids and mentoring while improving systems-engineering practice.

- Qualification: Applicants need degree or equivalent professional experience in systems, electronics, computing or a related discipline.
- Technical: Applicants need extensive large-scale systems-integration, requirements and architecture experience.
- Experience: Applicants need leadership across multidisciplinary teams, technical risk and customer or supplier interfaces.
- Preferred: Knowledge of systems standards, UML or SysML, DOORS, APIs, V&V and delivery lifecycles; fare collection is desirable.
