Leadership of large system-test organisations and complex fare-collection or revenue systems is required. You’ll establish Indra’s end-to-end TfL test capability, transition it from the incumbent and create laboratories, environments and governance for software releases and operational readiness. The role is permanent and hybrid in Redhill, covering both transition and the subsequent test service.
What You'll Work On
- Define the System Test Strategy and transition the capability into Indra.
- Establish laboratories, environments, assets and supporting infrastructure.
- Lead Test Managers, Leads and Engineers across planning, execution, automation, defects and acceptance.
- Coordinate engineering, software, infrastructure, service teams and suppliers while driving quality and continuous improvement.
Why This Role Matters
- TfL’s fare-collection estate needs an operational test service when responsibility transfers to Indra; laboratories, environments and trained teams form part of that handover readiness.
- Software releases require test environments and acceptance evidence before deployment, giving engineering and operational teams a basis for assessing changes to the live ticketing service.
What They Are Looking For
- Qualification: Applicants need technical degree or equivalent experience.
- Technical: Applicants need leadership of testing for complex AFC, ticketing, revenue, software-integration or critical-infrastructure systems.
- Experience: Applicants need experience defining test strategy, laboratories, environments, governance and service mobilisation.
- Preferred: Strong multidisciplinary leadership and stakeholder management; ISTQB or ITIL credentials are desirable.
