Quantitative market research is owned from brief through survey design, analysis and reporting across segmentation, creative testing, brand tracking and campaign evaluation. This six-month fixed-term London role pays £60,000 to £65,000 and follows Trainline’s hybrid model with at least 60% office attendance over twelve weeks. The remit also develops the Brand Tracker, manages suppliers and tests AI-led research methods.
What You'll Work On
- Lead quantitative research from brief through survey design, methodology, analysis and reporting across segmentation, creative testing and campaign evaluation.
- Own Trainline’s Brand Tracker and other reporting outputs, maintaining clear access and interpretation for Brand and Marketing stakeholders.
- Combine evidence with Data Science, UX Research and Marketing Effectiveness teams to produce customer and market narratives for decision-makers.
- Test AI-led approaches to research quality, efficiency and insight generation while maintaining established research standards.
- Manage qualitative and quantitative research suppliers, including briefs, relationships, delivery, budgets and acceptance of final outputs.

What They Are Looking For
- Experience: Significant hands-on market-research experience, agency-side, client-side or equivalent, with strong quantitative capability is sought.
- Technical: Research-methodology and survey design, analysis, reporting and presentation capability are sought.
- Domain: Implementing or experimenting with AI-led approaches, or a strong interest in their research application, is sought.
- Technical: Ability to combine qualitative and quantitative sources into decision-useful findings is sought.
- Preferred: Multi-market research, for example across the UK, France, Italy, Spain or US, is advantageous.
- Preferred: Experience with tools such as YouGov Crunch is advantageous.
