What You'll Work On

  • Build new functionality in C# and .NET for Trainline backend domains such as journey search, fares, bookings, payments or refunds.
  • Own backend changes from coding through testing, deployment and production monitoring across AWS-hosted transactional services.
  • Improve the existing codebase and contribute to technical decisions affecting DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Docker, Terraform and GitHub Actions workflows.
  • Identify delivery blockers and technical waste within the team, then coach less-experienced engineers on practical code and production decisions.
