What You'll Work On
- Set and develop health and safety strategy across Arriva London, advising senior leaders and maintaining a visible presence within garages and operations.
- Monitor performance and risk trends, strengthen audit and assurance processes and ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements and Arriva standards.
- Oversee significant incident investigations and embed lessons and improvement actions that reduce risk and strengthen operational safety culture.
- Challenge and support engineering and operational leaders, engaging colleagues and external stakeholders to build practical safety accountability across sites.
What They Are Looking For
- Experience: Established health and safety leadership with the ability to influence senior and frontline operational teams.
- Eligibility: Ability and willingness to travel regularly across Arriva London sites and maintain visible site-based leadership.
- Preferred: A NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification and Chartered IOSH membership, or demonstrable progress, are ideal credentials.
