What You'll Work On

  • Lead, coach and develop bus drivers through one-to-ones, performance reviews, mentoring and return-to-work processes.
  • Manage driver attendance, conduct, wellbeing and employee-relations activity in line with company policy.
  • Oversee driver rotas, shift allocation and holiday planning to protect operational coverage and service reliability.
  • Monitor punctuality, safety, fuel-efficiency and customer-feedback KPIs and act on underperformance or recurring issues.
  • Investigate incidents, customer complaints and operational problems while coordinating with engineering, operations and customer-service teams.

  • Preferred: Knowledge of PCV/HGV regulations, driver hours, tachograph compliance and transport legislation is described as ideal.
  • Preferred: Strong IT skills, including operational systems and Microsoft Office experience, are described as ideal.
  • Preferred: A valid PCV licence is advantageous but explicitly not essential.
