Safety-critical verification and validation experience, including team management, is requested for this full-time Bristol role. Within Power and BMS, you will define item-level evidence for battery and high-voltage systems spanning hardware and software. A relevant engineering degree and ARP4754 understanding are requested; direct BMS or HIL-environment experience is desirable.

What You'll Work On

  • Set BMS and high-voltage verification strategy, defining item-level plans and compliance evidence across hardware, software and the associated system requirements.
  • Oversee automated HIL and other test environments, maintaining traceability from requirements through test results and presenting evidence for certification review.
  • Lead V&V engineers and coordinate systems, hardware and software teams, setting technical standards for verification rigour and the quality of evidence.

  • Technical: Relevant technical capabilities include ARP4754, compliance evidence and DOORS/Jama or MBSE environments.
  • Preferred: Preferred attributes include BMS/HV systems, HIL and DO-160/DO-178C/DO-254.
