The full-time Bristol position covers cell qualification, test analysis and supplier work for aircraft batteries. Relevant degree-level study, postgraduate study or equivalent experience is accepted; industrial cell qualification and battery modelling experience are desirable.
What You'll Work On
- Design cell qualification and electrical test programmes, agreeing requirements with engineers and technicians and analysing the resulting performance and safety data.
- Develop statistical analysis tools and manage cell requirements, supporting verification through testing, modelling and collaboration with research and industrial partners.
- Support supplier evaluation and cell sourcing, contributing electrochemistry evidence on performance, lifetime, safety, quality and prospective technologies across the battery programme.

What They Are Looking For
- Experience: Relevant experience includes 1–2 years with commercial lithium-ion cells and strong cell-data analysis.

- Technical: Relevant technical capabilities include cell electrochemistry, degradation and electrical test design, including DoE.
- Preferred: Preferred attributes include FMEA/FTA, ECM/TECM or lifetime modelling and industrial cell qualification.
