Foundational .NET knowledge, version-control awareness and understanding of Agile delivery are required for this junior engineering role. You’ll contribute to Trainline backend services, taking features through coding, deployment and monitoring with support from your team. The London position pays £35,000–£38,000 and requires office attendance under the company’s hybrid working model.
What You'll Work On
- Develop backend features for Trainline journey search, bookings, payments and operator integrations, selecting tools and contributing to technical decisions.
- Own assigned features from code through deployment and production monitoring, improving the codebase and addressing blockers to delivery.
- Work within the backend team’s engineering practices to review quality and customer requirements across the development lifecycle of assigned services.
