Intelligent mobility technology and growth across Scotland and northern England are the responsibilities of this Associate Director. You’ll lead technical commissions, develop client opportunities and guide multidisciplinary delivery for National Highways and local authorities. The full-time role explicitly combines homeworking with one of five named office bases. Complex ITS or transportation-technology delivery and work-winning experience are required, together with a relevant degree; professional membership or chartership is desirable.
What You'll Work On
- Lead intelligent transport and digital mobility commissions, acting as Project Director or Technical Reviewer and maintaining technical quality for strategically important client work.
- Develop work-winning plans for Scotland and northern England, building client relationships and converting transport-technology opportunities into proposals and successful delivery.
- Guide Intelligent Mobility teams in technical and management approaches, developing capability across intelligent transport systems, public transport and local technology services.
- Support practice performance and colleague development, coordinating with the senior leadership team and representing Intelligent Transport and Infrastructure to external clients and partners.
