Bridge design, maintenance and assessment experience is required, alongside a civil or structural engineering degree and progress towards CEng or IEng. Based in Glasgow, you’ll prepare designs, calculations and BIM documentation for transport structures across the UK and Ireland, including A9 dualling and Network Rail work. Knowledge of relevant design standards and structural analysis software is expected.
What You'll Work On
- Develop civil and structural designs for transport projects, covering new construction, renewal, maintenance and assessment of existing assets.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, BIM deliverables, analysis models, calculations and specifications for bridge and civil engineering work.
- Compare engineering options against client problems and coordinate design inputs with internal teams, external stakeholders and other disciplines.
