Procurement and contract management across TfL’s category-led portfolio are the focus of this multi-vacancy campaign. Assignments may cover technology, stations, trains, construction and other commercial categories, with some construction-specific entry criteria. The permanent, full-time posts offer circa £41,000 and a 50% office/home split. Flexible arrangements are welcomed, and offers are expected from November 2026 onwards.

What You'll Work On

  • Support commercial strategy and procurement planning, analysing sourcing options and aligning proposed approaches with business needs and category strategies.
  • Manage or support sourcing projects through contract award, selecting procurement routes and guiding stakeholders through the commercial lifecycle where required.
  • Manage contracts and supplier performance, applying governance, financial control and risk management to medium- and high-complexity commercial arrangements.
  • Build supplier and stakeholder relationships and contribute to responsible procurement, supply-chain improvement and better commercial processes, systems and data.

What They Are Looking For

  • Experience: Procurement, commercial, buying or similar experience and knowledge of the end-to-end commercial lifecycle are essential.
  • Stakeholder: Communication, relationship-building and collaborative problem-solving are essential.
  • Domain: Construction knowledge and construction or quantity-surveying experience are essential only for construction-focused assignments.
  • Preferred: Relevant CIPS/RICS membership, commercial tools, procurement law, responsible procurement and commercial-risk knowledge are desirable.
  • Eligibility: Right-to-work, DBS and employment checks apply; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
