Key Notes
A current master’s or PhD student with Python or C++ skills and distributed-systems knowledge will work on infrastructure supporting large volumes of machine-learning examples and feature data. This is a full-time, hybrid London internship for summer 2027. Annualised pay is £65,000 for master’s students or £80,000 for PhD students; export-control checks form part of the application.
What You'll Work On
- Maintain project infrastructure handling millions of multimodal examples and petabytes of machine-learning feature data.
- Implement systems that improve the team’s existing machine-learning data and development workflows.
- Work with users and agents to identify use cases and workflow steps that need improvement.
What They Are Looking For
- Qualification: Currently enrolled in a master’s or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Technical: Python/C++ coding, distributed systems and familiarity with machine-learning training and inference.
- Preferred: Feature extraction, distributed storage, TensorFlow, Jax, autonomous driving or robotics experience.
- Eligibility: The form asks about being 18 by May 2027, work authorisation and export-licence requirements.
