Current master’s or PhD enrolment in computer science, robotics or a related field is required for this summer 2027 internship. The work covers research implementation, model training and evaluation for simulation realism. It is full-time and hybrid in London, with rolling applications. Advertised pay is annualised at £65,000 for master’s students or £80,000 for PhD students; application-stage export-control checks apply.
What You'll Work On
- Implement research ideas in the team’s existing simulation-realism projects.
- Run training experiments for the simulation-realism research workstream.
- Evaluate models through experiments within the existing research projects.
What They Are Looking For
- Qualification: Currently enrolled in a master’s or PhD in computer science, robotics or a related technical field.
- Technical: Python coding and deep-learning experience with TensorFlow, Jax or PyTorch.
- Preferred: Attention or autoregressive architectures, multimodal diffusion, autonomous driving or robotics experience.
- Eligibility: The application asks whether you will be 18 by May 2027 and requires export-licence and work-authorisation disclosures.
