Risk Manager

Indra Group UK & Ireland London, United KingdomHybridContract

Key Notes

Proteus risk management spans Indra’s programme entry and service-delivery phases for Transport for London. The London hybrid post is a 16-month fixed-term contract, covering technical, transition, supplier, cost and schedule exposure. The candidate list names a relevant degree, professional risk certification and extensive complex-project experience; rail, construction or infrastructure exposure is preferred.

What You'll Work On

  • Develop and maintain the Proteus Project Risk Management Plan and programme Risk Register across entry and service-delivery phases.
  • Run quantitative risk analysis, including Monte Carlo modelling, to assess potential schedule and budget impacts.
  • Design mitigation strategies and lead regular risk reviews with workstream leads, management and Transport for London.
  • Monitor subcontractor risk performance and prepare monthly reporting on trends, mitigation progress and residual exposure.

Why This Role Matters

  • TfL’s Proteus budgets and timelines are exposed to technical, transition and supplier risks; quantitative analysis estimates the possible effects so mitigation priorities reflect their scale.
  • Proteus risk assessments preserve the history of identified exposures and mitigation decisions, giving programme teams documented evidence to draw on when addressing claims or contractual disputes.

What They Are Looking For

  • Qualification: A degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, IT or a related discipline is sought.
  • Qualification: Professional risk certification is sought, with examples including IRM Certificate/Diploma, APM PRAMQ, PMI-RMP or MoR.
  • Experience: Extensive risk-management experience on large, complex projects is sought.
  • Preferred: Rail, construction or infrastructure project experience is preferred.
