Ember needs a hands-on project manager who can run multiple charging-hub developments from site search through energisation, learning technical, planning and legal detail rather than outsourcing judgement. You’ll negotiate leases, coordinate grid connections and suppliers, and challenge construction decisions on site. The Edinburgh role pays £45,000–£60,000 plus share options and is office-led most days, with flexibility for occasional home working and site travel.
What You'll Work On
- Build a pipeline of charging-hub locations matched to future electric-coach routes, sourcing off-market opportunities with agents, councils and landlords.
- Drive leases, design submissions and planning applications, making informed trade-offs with support from solicitors, architects and engineering specialists.
- Coordinate distribution-network connections and suppliers through charger procurement, civil works, installation, commissioning and final energisation activities.
- Review construction details on site and continue improving operational hubs across parking, washing, charging and driver-facility requirements.
