Key Notes
Network-service handover to Indra’s TfL support organisation involves knowledge transfer, shadowing, readiness checks and operational acceptance. The 12-month fixed-term role is based in Redhill and progresses from transition leadership into ongoing network management. It combines enterprise-network technical depth with engineer and supplier leadership; relevant qualifications can be met through equivalent experience. Flexible or remote working options are mentioned.
What You'll Work On
- Lead the transition and ongoing operation of enterprise network services for the TfL ticketing programme.
- Plan shadowing, reverse shadowing and service-acceptance checks with incumbent suppliers and the incoming support organisation.
- Manage network engineers and third-party suppliers, and oversee ITIL incident, problem, change and service-request processes.
- Review network architectures, coordinate upgrades and report technical risks, dependencies and service performance.
Why This Role Matters
- TfL’s incoming network-support organisation must take over the incumbent service; shadowing and operational validation test whether it has the knowledge and procedures needed for handover.
- Enterprise network services support the ticketing programme’s operations; incident, security and performance oversight addresses faults and risks as responsibility moves into ongoing support.
