For Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, you’ll lead strategic sourcing, purchasing and supplier management for Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, covering fleet, infrastructure, technology and corporate spend. The role owns responsible sourcing, procurement policy, supplier frameworks, contracts, savings, risk and forecasting while partnering with Operations, Finance and project delivery. A relevant degree, at least seven years in senior procurement leadership and proven multi-category negotiation, supplier-management and cost-reduction experience are required.
What You'll Work On
- Define procurement policies and category sourcing strategies that align buying decisions with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers’ operational and commercial priorities.
- Establish supplier evaluation, onboarding, performance-monitoring and continuous-improvement controls across goods, services, logistics and capital-project procurement.
- Lead vendor selection, contract negotiation and cost-reduction activity while monitoring supplier quality, commercial compliance, contractual risk and financial performance.
- Coordinate procurement planning with Project Delivery, Operations and Finance for fleet upgrades, service expansion, infrastructure projects and forecast operational requirements.
