What You'll Work On
- Manage an allocated claims caseload from notification through resolution, maintaining records and monitoring deadlines under legal and company requirements.
- Gather reports, statements and other evidence and assess information to support claims decisions and investigations, identifying potential fraudulent claims.
- Liaise with customers, insurers and stakeholders and respond to correspondence professionally, escalating complex cases that require specialist input.
- Use diary and case systems to organise priorities and keep claim records accurate, contributing problem-solving support across the claims team.
What They Are Looking For
- Experience: Administration, customer service, claims, insurance or similar office-based experience.
- Technical: Confidence using Microsoft Office and other IT systems, with accurate records and organised priority management.
- Stakeholder: Clear written and verbal communication and a professional, empathetic approach to customers.
- Preferred: Claims handling or insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.
