What You'll Work On
- Own Remote Assist architecture and technical roadmaps across onboard integration, offboard services and operator human-machine interface tooling.
- Define the vehicle-to-operator contract covering telemetry, authority boundaries, fallback behaviour, minimum-risk manoeuvres and system failure handling.
- Coordinate autonomy, Safety, platform, infrastructure and Product teams to convert Remote Assist architecture into deliverable technical workstreams.
- Set latency, reliability, monitoring, replay, evidence and incident-learning standards for safety-critical Remote Assist operation.
- Represent Remote Assist with engineering leadership and safety stakeholders as it contributes to the evolving Level 4 safety case.

What They Are Looking For
- Experience: Staff-level ownership of real-time, safety-critical systems such as AV, robotics, teleoperation, aerospace, industrial control or medical devices is essential.
- Technical: Deep expertise in at least one of low-latency video or telemetry, robotics integration, control systems or human-in-the-loop design is essential.
- Domain: Failure-mode thinking, fallback design, operational-design-domain constraints and evidence-led safety decisions are essential.
- Stakeholder: Cross-organisation technical roadmap leadership across teams without direct management authority is essential.
- Domain: Connecting technical metrics with rider experience, operational outcomes and launch readiness is essential.
- Preferred: Remote driving or assistance, operator UX, relevant safety frameworks or prototype-to-production scaling is desirable.
