Seven or more years integrating complex systems is essential for a role spanning autonomous hardware and software on internal and partner vehicles. The remit covers architecture, prototyping, bring-up, HIL benches, fleet troubleshooting and integration processes across electrical, mechanical and software disciplines. What You'll Work On

  • Integrate and bring up Wayve autonomous systems across internal and automotive-partner vehicles from prototype through deployment.
  • Architect, prototype and evaluate new hardware configurations against multidisciplinary system and vehicle requirements.
  • Diagnose complex fleet issues across electrical, mechanical and software boundaries, then improve system-integration workflows and architecture using observed evidence.
  • Bring up and maintain development benches and Hardware-in-the-Loop systems used for system integration.

What They Are Looking For

  • Experience: At least seven years integrating and developing complex systems is essential.
  • Technical: Reading/modifying harness diagrams, selecting compute/sensing components and iterating embedded/robotics hardware architecture are essential.
  • Domain: Full-lifecycle physical-product experience across electrical, mechanical and software systems, supply chain/change control and supplier/manufacturer design validation is essential.
  • Technical: Software deployment/maintenance in the C++, Python and Rust environment, plus Linux, Git and scripting tools, is essential.
  • Preferred: Autonomous vehicles, robotics, PCB/harness prototyping, test/flashing applications or automated hardware/software bring-up suites are desirable.
  • Preferred: A bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience, is desirable.
