Key Notes

SPINE’s endpoint, identity and internal-platform security controls form the core scope, alongside automation, infrastructure as code, systemic remediation and security KPIs. Required skills cover scripting and automation, configuration as policy, Linux and endpoint management, and identity and access controls. The engineer provides technical leadership and mentoring while working with central Security on policy and compliance requirements.

  • Mentor engineers and align SPINE controls with central Security policy, compliance requirements and organisation-wide technical decisions.

Why This Role Matters

  • SPINE’s endpoint and identity systems carry security controls across Wayve’s internal devices and access paths; ongoing remediation addresses weaknesses found across that estate.

  • Technical: Scripting and automation proficiency is required; examples include Python, Bash and PowerShell.
