The Staff Manager coaches colleagues, supports service mobilisation and performance improvement, and deputises for the Operations Manager. Working knowledge of legislation, workforce agreements and operational reporting systems is required; the appointment is permanent and full-time.
What You'll Work On
- Lead the operations function at a Greater Manchester depot, maintaining performance standards and a safety-focused approach.
- Coach and mentor depot colleagues, driving sustained performance and continuous improvement across the team.
- Support change initiatives, service mobilisation and performance-improvement work across teams or sites.
- Monitor legislation, performance indicators, company procedures and workforce agreements, and produce operational reports and analysis.
- Deputise for the Operations Manager and maintain relationships with internal, external and trade-union stakeholders.
