Bolton depot’s live driver and vehicle allocation runs through this 38-hour supervisor role, including absence cover, breakdown response and handovers between shifts. Local-network knowledge and knowledge of service-delivery legislation, procedures and workforce agreements are required. What You'll Work On

  • Plan and adjust daily service coverage, managing drivers and vehicles through depot departures, route operations, absence cover and return to depot.
  • Monitor punctuality and availability, recording drivers’ hours and duties in DAS GUI and updating lost or additional mileage during disruption.
  • Investigate operational incidents and report findings and recommendations, using service data to identify opportunities for improved performance and allocation efficiency.
  • Coordinate shift handovers and work with operational, engineering and union colleagues on vehicle allocation, breakdowns, changeovers and other service-delivery issues.
