This backend-leaning engineer builds and operates production features, integrates OEM environments and resolves incidents. Essential experience includes multi-tenant or external APIs, enterprise SaaS and production ownership; the team uses Java, Python and TypeScript/React. The London role is full-time and hybrid, with an out-of-hours rotation once established.

What You'll Work On

  • Build and operate product features used by Wayve staff and automotive partners through the AI Portal.
  • Develop services, APIs, integrations and web interfaces across the Portal’s microservice and cloud environment.
  • Integrate Wayve systems with OEM environments across partner-facing services and interfaces.
  • Improve Portal reliability, observability and operability and resolve production incidents from monitoring or customer reports.
  • Take features from customer need through design, delivery, deployment and ongoing production support.
