Evaluation design and delivery experience is required, including theories of change, evaluation frameworks and managing clients, budgets and project teams. You’ll lead mixed-methods research for transport and public-sector clients, translating findings into policy and investment recommendations. Transport-sector experience is not essential; postgraduate study, analytical tools and digital or AI interests are desirable rather than mandatory.
What You'll Work On
- Design mixed-methods evaluations for transport and public-sector clients, defining research questions and selecting proportionate approaches to assess programme effects.
- Develop theories of change, monitoring frameworks and benefits-realisation plans using relevant government evaluation and appraisal guidance for client projects.
- Manage research budgets, timescales, teams and client relationships, and contribute to bids, evaluation reports and presentations of findings.
