Platform engineering centres on Tracsis’s AWS-based platform, with production work across Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, observability and cloud security. The remote role includes visits to the Leeds office and supports developer self-service, incident response, platform reliability and cloud-cost optimisation while working alongside experienced platform engineers.
What You'll Work On
- Build and maintain cloud-native capabilities in Tracsis’s AWS platform, including developer self-service features.
- Implement infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices alongside development teams.
- Improve monitoring, logging, security and automation across shared platform services.
- Support production through incident response and on-call work, contributing to reliability and cloud-cost improvements.

What They Are Looking For
- Experience: Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE or a similar cloud-infrastructure role is sought.
- Technical: Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience, particularly Amazon EKS, plus knowledge of cloud-native technologies and modern platform-engineering practices are sought.
- Technical: Terraform, GitOps approaches, CI/CD tooling and Linux administration and troubleshooting are sought.
- Technical: Monitoring, logging, observability, cloud-security principles and proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, Java or C# are sought.
- Preferred: GitLab CI/CD is identified as the ideal CI/CD exposure.
- Stakeholder: A collaborative mindset focused on automation, continuous improvement and high-quality delivery is sought.
