Senior bus-operations leadership and knowledge of TfL performance measures are central to this Wandsworth Garage role. You’ll manage service, people, vehicle, financial and compliance performance under London bus contracts, including QIC and QSI measures and lost mileage. The permanent full-time position is based at the depot and includes team development.
What You'll Work On
- Lead daily bus operations at Wandsworth Garage, aligning driver, vehicle and control resources with scheduled service requirements.
- Manage QIC and QSI performance, lost mileage, reliability and customer outcomes, using operational data to drive corrective action.
- Lead and develop operational teams, workforce plans and performance processes while maintaining constructive employee relations.
- Control budgets, safety, compliance and audit readiness under TfL contracts and company operating standards.

- Experience: Applicants need substantial senior experience in bus, transport or logistics operations, including leadership of frontline and supervisory teams.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of TfL bus contracts and measures such as QIC and QSI; Transport Manager CPC is preferred or willingness to obtain it.
- Experience: Applicants need strong financial, KPI and resource-management capability, with experience improving service performance and compliance.
- Experience: Applicants need sound health-and-safety knowledge and the ability to lead people, communicate clearly and manage operational pressure.
