Lead Technical Program Manager, Quality & Compliance

Wayve London, United KingdomHybridFull Time

Key Notes

Quality, compliance or process programme experience of at least eight years is required for this full-time, hybrid London role. You will build a small TPM team and deliver initiatives spanning quality, security, privacy and operational safety. The emphasis is on practical processes; knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, SOTIF, ISO 27001 or GDPR is desirable.

What You'll Work On

  • Lead company-wide quality and compliance programmes, translating framework requirements into operating practices across engineering, product, safety, privacy and operations.
  • Build and coach the TPM team, directly managing major initiatives and negotiating practical processes that meet requirements without unnecessary organisational burden.
  • Establish governance, audit-readiness measures and escalation routes, coordinating external partners and reporting compliance status, risks and delivery priorities to company leadership.

Why This Role Matters

  • Wayve’s ASPICE, security, privacy and operational-safety programmes span engineering, legal and operations; shared compliance evidence exposes gaps that individual teams cannot assess in isolation.
  • Wayve teams must incorporate compliance requirements into everyday work; the programme’s lightweight processes and adoption measures address the stated trade-off between audit readiness and organisational efficiency.

What They Are Looking For

  • Experience: Relevant experience includes 8+ years in quality, compliance or process programmes, including function-building and leadership.
  • Technical: Relevant technical capabilities include practical process design, programme governance and evidence-led performance measures.
  • Stakeholder: Relevant stakeholder skills include cross-functional influence across technical and corporate teams.
  • Preferred: Preferred attributes include automotive/safety-critical standards, ISO 27001, privacy or regulated-domain experience.
