Key Notes
Corporate IT ownership spans end-user support, networking, AWS, Windows Server, Active Directory and business applications used across Vix's global environment. The Manchester post is fully office-based, five days a week, and bridges daily second-line support with group modernisation work. ITIL Foundation certification, an IT qualification and at least five years in comparable support are listed as essential.
What You'll Work On
- Troubleshoot end-user devices, corporate networking and SaaS applications across Vix's global follow-the-sun technical service and support model.
- Maintain Windows Server, Active Directory and AWS infrastructure alongside Atlassian, Google Workspace, HubSpot, Lucid and TeamCity applications.
- Support group-wide IT modernisation work covering corporate standardisation, automation and cloud adoption under the Head of IT.
- Manage technical records, vendor support escalations, procurement and warranty matters within formal ITIL incident, request and change-management processes.
Why This Role Matters
- Vix's global workforce uses shared identity, cloud, network and SaaS services; failures in those corporate systems can stop employees accessing applications or completing day-to-day work.
- Vix’s group-wide IT modernisation programme spans standardisation, automation and cloud adoption, where consistent documentation and ITIL controls make changes traceable across a decentralised operating environment.
