Two field engineers are being hired for Vix vehicle and on-street systems across southern England, with Poole the named base. Work combines electrical diagnostics, hardware faults, maintenance and commissioning against SLAs and KPIs. Relevant qualifications and field-engineering diagnostic experience are essential. Applicants must currently live in the UK and be UK citizens or residents with indefinite leave to remain.
What You'll Work On
- Diagnose faults in Vix vehicle and on-street systems through electrical testing and Vix software monitoring tools.
- Repair hardware failures, complete planned maintenance and install or commission Vix equipment across customer transport sites.
- Record every maintenance activity accurately and brief customers on fault diagnosis, repair progress and completed site work.
- Coordinate with local teams and Configuration Engineers while tracking service delivery against agreed SLAs and KPIs.

What They Are Looking For
- Qualification: A relevant electrical-engineering or vehicle-maintenance qualification, such as NVQ Level 3, is essential.
- Experience: Field-engineering experience with electrical and electronic diagnostics is essential.
- Eligibility: Applicants must currently reside in the UK and be UK citizens or residents with indefinite leave to remain.
- Preferred: RTI systems, GPRS, IT systems/basic networking, quality procedures and relevant field-environment experience are desirable.
- Preferred: A Level 4 Vehicle Diagnostics diploma, Emergency First Aid at Work, HERS Found accreditation or NVQ Level 2 are desirable.
