Customer-site fault response is the practical core of this Greenford field role. The technician performs first and second line work on Cubic transportation equipment, restores failed devices, assists installation and commissioning, and supports stock and fault control against service requirements. A recognised engineering qualification and high-technology maintenance experience are required; an HNC in electronics or mechanical engineering is preferred.

What You'll Work On

  • Perform first and second line maintenance on Cubic transportation equipment deployed under customer service agreements.
  • Respond to equipment faults and complete prescribed repairs within contracted call-to-fix and availability targets.
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of Cubic equipment, including delivery and collection of replacement modules from designated stores.
  • Assist with stock and fault control while applying statutory safety requirements and ISO-aligned quality procedures at customer sites.

  • Experience: Hands-on service and maintenance experience in a high-technology equipment environment is required.
  • Qualification: A recognised engineering qualification is required.
  • Preferred: An HNC or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering and experience delivering service-level contracts against call-to-fix and system-availability targets are desirable.
