Key Notes
Three or more years in DevOps, build engineering or related infrastructure work are required for this CI/CD position. You will improve Wayve’s build and release systems, working directly with software teams on pipeline reliability and feedback times. Linux, Git and scripting experience are essential; cloud, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code experience are desirable.
What You'll Work On
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure, optimising dependency handling, caching and reproducibility across development, testing and release workflows.
- Operate runners, build agents and artifact storage, investigating pipeline failures with engineers and implementing durable fixes for recurring infrastructure problems.
- Develop automation and developer tooling, improving feedback times and contributing to CI/CD architecture, security practices and operational processes as workloads increase.
Why This Role Matters
- Reliable build and test pipelines return usable feedback on software changes to Wayve engineers, reducing delays caused by recurring infrastructure failures during development and release work.
- Reproducible builds and controlled dependencies support dependable software delivery, with infrastructure improvements addressing failures that otherwise recur across engineering teams and release workflows.

- Experience: Relevant experience includes 3+ years in DevOps, CI/CD, build or related engineering.
- Technical: Relevant technical capabilities include CI platforms, dependency/caching concepts, Linux, Git and Python/Bash/Go or similar.
- Preferred: Preferred attributes include scaled runners, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code and CI security practices.
