CAD experience and developing knowledge of traffic-signal design and operation are required for this early-career role. You’ll prepare AutoCAD designs, calculations and technical reports, then support surveys, installation, testing and commissioning. Based in Epsom or Bristol with hybrid working, the post includes structured mentoring and may involve short-term travel for UK or overseas schemes.
What You'll Work On
- Design traffic-signal installations in two and three dimensions using AutoCAD, preparing engineering calculations and drawings for client schemes.
- Undertake site surveys and support traffic-signal installation, optimisation, equipment testing and commissioning alongside colleagues working on the schemes.
- Prepare technical notes and project reports for traffic-control clients, supporting project administration and reporting progress to senior engineers.
