On small to medium infrastructure projects, you’ll lead civil-engineering design tasks, manage engineers and designers, and act as work-package manager on small to medium infrastructure projects. The role owns design checks, approvals, programme, budget and client commitments, with potential CRE responsibility on Network Rail work. Multidisciplinary delivery and civil-engineering standards experience are sought. This is a permanent hybrid role in Manchester or Birmingham.
What You'll Work On
- Lead civil engineering design and integration against client commitments, managing programme, budget and quality requirements across the assigned work package.
- Oversee design production, calculations and checking and approval processes, communicating technical and project requirements to the contributing engineering team.
- Act as work-package manager and apply civil engineering, construction, CDM and safety standards throughout the design and delivery activities.
