Key Notes
Supporting SYSTRA’s client-side Commercial and PMO team, you’ll work across capital programmes, controlling cost, schedule and contractual risk from delivery through close-out. Work includes NEC change control, earned-value and forecast alignment, payment certification, supply-chain assurance, monthly billing and budget reporting. A quantity-surveying or commercial-management degree, at least two years’ NEC experience and post-contract reporting, payment, claims and final-account capability are sought. The London role is permanent and hybrid.
What You'll Work On
- Support client-side commercial control of capital projects, maintaining NEC change records, earned-value forecasts, risk assessments and defect information throughout delivery.
- Prepare billing assurance and payment-certification inputs and review supply-chain mobilisation evidence against the project’s commercial requirements and agreed controls.
- Monitor budget envelopes and report variances, contributing to contractual deliverables and the financial information required through project close-out activities.
Why This Role Matters
- Capital transport programmes need disciplined cost and change control so funding, supplier payments and delivery risks remain transparent to the client.
- Client-side commercial assurance links NEC obligations, forecasts and evidence before payment, change and programme decisions are approved across complex infrastructure work packages.
