Reporting to the Senior Director Manufacturing Vehicles, the post joins the UK Executive leadership team and owns manufacturing performance and a substantial operating budget. Senior experience leading complex manufacturing operations and working with trade unions is required.
What You'll Work On
- Lead rail-vehicle manufacturing, planning and site functions at Newton Aycliffe, managing performance against quality, cost and delivery commitments.
- Set plant budgets and resource plans, coordinating programme manufacturing requirements with the facility’s current capacity and future operational needs.
- Develop senior managers and maintain customer, trade-union and employee-representative relationships while applying site health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
