Key Notes
Workforce reporting and data validation experience are central to this permanent, full-time role at Piccadilly Place. You will analyse HR, recruitment, payroll and workforce-planning information within TfGM’s People team. Hybrid working is stated in the listing. Power BI, Power Automate or programming experience would help but are not essential.
What You'll Work On
- Analyse and validate workforce datasets spanning recruitment, payroll, absence and establishment planning, translating patterns into information that managers can use.
- Build reports and dashboards using Excel, Power Query and people systems, agreeing reporting requirements and outputs with stakeholders across TfGM.
- Support system testing, data-quality improvements and reporting processes, explaining technical findings clearly to colleagues without a specialist analytics background.
Why This Role Matters
- TfGM’s workforce planning draws on several people systems, making reconciled datasets necessary to distinguish genuine staffing trends from inconsistent records and reporting definitions.
- HR and payroll information informs organisational decisions, with accessible dashboards exposing workforce risks and future needs to managers beyond the specialist People analytics team.
What They Are Looking For
- Experience: Relevant experience includes extracting, manipulating, validating and presenting data through reporting or visualisation tools.
- Stakeholder: Agree reporting requirements and explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: Preferred attributes include Power BI, Power Automate or a programming language; these are explicitly not essential.
