Mildmay and Suffragette line performance provides the focus for improvement projects delivered jointly with First Rail London and Network Rail. The post supports the Upminster Service Delivery Centre through operational analysis, root-cause work and improvement governance. The full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract pays £65,000–£70,000. Railway operations experience and knowledge of concession performance regimes are essential.
What You'll Work On
- Deliver operational, people and performance improvements across the North London Railway, supporting the Mildmay Line Operating Plan and local management teams.
- Lead improvement forums including the Service Delivery Group, tracking agreed actions and aligning them with operational and business priorities.
- Analyse performance trends and facilitate structured root-cause investigations to identify recurring operational problems and opportunities to improve resilience.
- Coordinate projects across First Rail London and Network Rail, measuring benefits and sharing useful practice between routes, functions and leadership teams.
