For SYSTRA’s transport projects, you’ll strengthen SYSTRA’s acoustics and vibration capability across major UK and international transport projects, including metros, high-speed rail, stations and tunnels. The contract role leads assignments, modelling, reviews, specifications and mitigation design while managing client and technical interfaces. Demonstrable noise-and-vibration experience on rail, highways or comparable infrastructure is sought. The role is based in London.
What You'll Work On
- Lead acoustic and vibration assignments on major transport infrastructure, assessing airborne and ground-borne effects during construction and subsequent operations.
- Develop mitigation designs for stations, tunnels, ventilation systems and public or technical spaces, documenting the analysis supporting proposed measures.
- Manage clients and technical interfaces, coordinating modelling, specification development and reviews across the acoustic work required for each commission.
