At least seven years of NEC commercial-management experience is required for this client-side capital-programme role. You’ll provide Level of Detail 2 commercial assurance across cost, change, risk, payment and forecasting, working with project and commercial contributors. Based in London, the permanent hybrid position includes reviewing evidence and challenging reported variances.
What You'll Work On
- Provide client-side commercial assurance across capital projects, reviewing cost plans, forecasts, payment applications and change under NEC contracts.
- Test earned-value and estimate-at-completion information, challenge variances and maintain clear commercial reporting at Level of Detail 2.
- Coordinate risk, compensation-event and change-control evidence with project, finance, procurement and delivery stakeholders working on the capital programme.
- Support commercial governance, audits and supplier discussions, escalating emerging cost or contractual exposure with evidence-based recommendations.

What They Are Looking For
- Experience: Applicants need at least seven years of relevant commercial or quantity-surveying experience with substantial NEC post-contract administration.
- Qualification: Applicants need degree in quantity surveying, commercial management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Applicants need strong capability in earned value, forecasting, cost assurance, risk, change, payment and commercial reporting.
- Preferred: Chartered status or progress toward RICS, CICES or another relevant professional body is desirable.
