What You'll Work On
- Review and negotiate pre-contract documents including NDAs, teaming, design-services and joint-venture agreements, assessing risk with clients, partners and the supply chain.
- Support tender commercial reviews and pricing strategy, developing practical contract amendments and bid-commercial approaches with legal teams and senior commercial colleagues.
- Coordinate contract approvals, governance and monthly commercial reporting, maintaining change and risk records and identifying value-engineering or cost-optimisation opportunities.
- Transfer awarded agreements to project commercial teams, communicating key risks and maintaining commercial relationships across clients, contractors and delivery partners.
What They Are Looking For
- Experience: Commercial, contracts or procurement experience and demonstrable bid, tender or pre-contract support.
- Domain: Standard contract forms, particularly NEC, and wider service or consultancy agreements.
- Technical: Commercial risk assessment and negotiation of balanced contractual outcomes.
- Stakeholder: Strong client and partner relationships, collaboration and management of priorities across concurrent opportunities.
- Qualification: A relevant degree is required; chartership or professional membership is desirable.
- Preferred: Rail, highways or other related infrastructure-market experience is preferred.
