Extensive highways design and project-leadership experience is central to this Newcastle Associate role. You’ll direct medium and large schemes, manage technical and commercial delivery, and develop a team of up to six engineers. The permanent position is hybrid and combines client-facing responsibilities with oversight of project quality, budgets and programmes.
What You'll Work On
- Lead medium and large highway, development and infrastructure projects, taking responsibility for technical quality, programme and commercial performance.
- Set delivery plans, resource teams and review designs against DMRB and relevant local or client standards.
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships, coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces and resolve design or delivery risks.
- Coach and line-manage up to six staff while supporting proposals and the growth of the regional highways practice.
