TfW is recruiting to a talent pool for infrastructure project support, not advertising an immediate appointment. The Pontypridd role covers contract administration, risk, assurance, planning, procurement and project controls, with hybrid options and site visits. Pay is up to £35,000 and applications close on 20 September 2026; a relevant qualification or progress towards one is essential.
What You'll Work On
- Support Project Managers with contract administration, including Early Warnings and Compensation Events, across infrastructure delivery.
- Coordinate risk-reduction meetings, risk registers and mitigation actions and escalate issues that could affect project delivery.
- Review delivery-partner documentation against TfW governance, safety and project-assurance requirements.
- Support planning, readiness, procurement and mobilisation activity and maintain project records, action trackers and controls.
- Help integrate CDM, environmental and sustainability requirements into project delivery and governance.

What They Are Looking For
- Qualification: Possessing or working towards a relevant qualification or professional accreditation such as APM PFQ, APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent is essential.
- Experience: Knowledge of the project lifecycle and ability to support delivery activity across its stages are essential.
- Domain: Awareness of health, safety, environmental and Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 is essential.
- Stakeholder: Ability to communicate project information effectively within the project team and wider stakeholder group is essential.
- Technical: Microsoft Office-based project administration and the ability to maintain action trackers, programmes, reports and risk and issue processes are essential.
- Preferred: Multi-disciplinary infrastructure delivery, IOSH or equivalent, public-sector work, Common Data Environments, Welsh-language skills and project-management tools are desirable.
